Mr Al-Hakim has just treated my Dupuytren's Contracture and I cannot recommend him highly enough. At the first consultation, he was very friendly, kind and gave me all the options together with his recommendations. I opted for needle fasciotomy, having already had the collagenase injection 18 months ago and the procedure was far less invasive and, apart from the sting of the local anaesthetic, didn't hurt at all. Mr Al-Hakim was reassuring, kind and engaging throughout the whole procedure - and, although in a splint, my hand was pain free pretty much straight afterwards. The procedure was a success although I know that, being genetic, my condition may well come back again. I am just enjoying my straight finger for as long as I can - if needs be, I shall certainly return to Mr Al-Hakim..

Mr Al-Hakim is a true professional with great communication skills. He explained my treatment which was to be a steroid injection in my Right thumb.6 weeks later I am pain free and with full movement in my thumb. At my follow up appointment once again I received excellent information a true gentleman and a credit to his profession sincere thanks from a grateful patient

very clear information at the consultation. I had a steroid injection into shoulder under ultra sound. really good results - no pain and lots more movement. Would absolutely recommend.
